Jared Lanham
Percussion Instructor

Jared Lanham is in his second year as Director of Percussion
at Stockbridge High School. Prior to coming to Stockbridge,
Jared served as percussion instructor for South Gwinnett
High School, Kennesaw Mountain High School, Odyssey
Percussion Theatre and the Lamatina and Bank Creek Drum
Studios. Jared as spent many years as a marching
percussionist with the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech,
Pariah Indoor Marching Ensemble, as well as Odyssey
Percussion Theatre. Jared is also an accomplished drum set
musician, playing for many cover bands and jazz ensembles
throughout metro-Atlanta. He holds an Associates Degree in
Business from Gainesville State College and is currently
pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies at Georgia
State University.
The Stockbridge Band program is thrilled to have such a
talented percussionist and teacher on board!
