The Concert Bands are the core of the Stockbridge High School (SHS) Band Program. The Concert Bands are open to students in grades 9-12.  Placement in these bands is determined by audition and director recommendation. (AUDITIONS ARE HELD PRIOR TO STUDENT REGISTRATION.)  Students are ability grouped into bands based on their audition.  Various times throughout the year students will have an opportunity to participate in various auditions including GMEA All State, UGA JAN-Fest, and District Honor Band that will give them opportunity to participate with some of the top musicians in the state.
